Serato DJ and Windows 8

Serato announced that the latest versions of Serato DJ and Serato Scratch Live are now supported for Windows 8.

We know we could run it on Windows 8 but they were not sure that the software was problem free.

So, this is good news for those out there with Serato DJ and 8 combination.

 

 

 

 

 

Pioneer DJE In-Ear Headphone Series

Pioneer DJ is launching its new headphones called ” DJE series ” at the end of March.

Are you ready for something new ? Cause, they are not the typical ones we’ve been using for years.

In-ear DJ headphones are entering the DJ scene with these two new pieces : DJE-1500 and DJE-2000.

Both models can also be used in over-ear position.

I can easily tell that it may take some time to get used to such a model as a DJ since we monitor music continuously and move the headphones away constantly by hanging it over our neck or shoulder.

But it’s worth giving it a try.

They will be in the market by the end of March with a price of € 159/299, probably a bit lower in the US.

New Affordable Reloop DJ Controllers

Reloop is getting ready for the release of two new digital DJ controllers: Beatmix 2 and Beatmix 4.

The company is already known for its reliable, high quality DJ equipment and adding more.

What I like with Reloop is that their products are quite affordable.

These new controllers being released in May 2014 will be € 219 and € 299.

I’m not gonna detail all the features here, but what basically separates both is the 2 channel / 4 channel function.
