Mixed-In-Key-6.0

The legendary harmonic mixing software Mixed In Key has its latest 6.0 version released few days ago.

Around this time last year, I wrote an article about how you can choose the best songs to mix harmonically.

In that article, I also said, “Learn this before anything else if you decide to be a DJ ! “. Of course, this is my humble opinion. I always believe that music has to sound right to ears, otherwise it’s a waste.

Mixed In Key software has been providing us the ability of  key detection in musical tracks and storing the data in file tags for a long time.

Now with version 6.0, it combines other great features with it. What are these? Let’s take a look.

First of all, key detection is the software’s major function. You add your files to the list and hit analyze. Mixed In Key finds the key of every song on that list and now %600 more detailed than the previous versions.

After that, you find which songs are harmonically compatible.

Since it stores the data on file tags, they will show with most DJ software including Serato, Traktor, Ableton Live and CDJs.

Mixed-In-Key-Grand-Piano

A virtual grand piano has been added to version 6.0 so that you can verify the analyzed key manually.

Another great feature with this software is the energy level detection of songs on your list. You can organize your playlists and sort them out knowing how energetic the track you play is. They are all listed on the software screen.

Many world known DJs like David Guetta, Kaskade and Sasha use Mixed In key to organize their music collection and for perfect performances.

You can visit the official Mixed In Key website for more information and purchase this great software for $58.
